My time at Acorn.
My time at acorn was longer then expected at the start i was trying too get kicked out so i could move back too brighton. From my case that i got when i was living in brighton and from all the broken tvs holes in walls missing reports incident reports and a million takeaways. I will always thank Acorn Independence for nurturing me helping me get sober. I especially thank (name withheld). She is possibly one of the best Managers and a person in general although she is a nagging person i know it comes from a point of care and too push me too be better and to be truthful acorn and (staff member) helped me become a better person. From being there when i felt lonely and upset too angry and annoyed
Acorn fought ofsted for me too stay untill i turned 18 and luckily they won. I have been given the best prospect of the way i will continue too live my lavish adult life. At some points i did think they would give up on me but they never did. And i cant describe in my words my gratitude for them not giving up on me.
From pushing me too clean my room get up and get outside (although i never did) And helping me when i felt stuck and like i was holding the weight of the world on my shoulders. For any lucky enough kid too move into a Acorn Indepence House dont take it for granted u have the opportunity too do anything there and they will support you regardless.
If im being honest if i didnt move too plymouth my prospects of life wouldve been dead from a overdose or being groomed.
(staff member) is a person in my life who i will never forget ever i will be forever grateful for Acorn.
Thank you Acorn Independence staff theres too many too name of the people who have supported me through thick and thin.
